In case you missed it, Arte Coffee’s rebrand launched on International Women’s Day 2021.

International Women’s Day is a global day that celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality. Did you know the first International Women’s Day gathering was in 1911? This day of celebration has been happening for well over a century!

As a brand with a mission to inspire (by supporting, featuring and empowering inspirational women in the coffee industry and connected spaces) we decided International Women’s Day was the perfect day to relaunch.

Each one of our blends or Single Origins portrays the image of a woman. Each woman has a story that we are inspired by.

ARTE Label COLOMBIANA

Colombiana features beans exclusively from Colombia, and is inspired by the colours of the Colombian flag. She inspires boldness and power in everyone!
ARTE Label LIMA

Lima features beans exclusively from Peru. She cares for the environment, and is organic and fair trade. She inspires a sense of calm and balance in everyone!
ARTE LABEL ESPRESSA

Espressa is a treat, and the life of the party. She inspires the outgoing and cheerful side in everyone!

ARTE LABEL LUSTRA

Lustra is unique, decadent and exciting. She inspires the indulgent side in everyone!

ARTE LABEL SUPREMA

Suprema is loved by everyone and inspires creativity and excitement in everyone!

Through our launch, we will celebrate women across our various campaigns – Inspired Chats, Arte-ist Features and Inspired Communities.

Despite our celebration of International Women’s Day, the day can also represent a day of discomfort, or of pain. There are many, many women out there who do not have the luxury of celebrating International Women’s Day, and we want to take this moment to pause, and honour those women.

We also recognise that there are many women we will not be able to communicate with directly that are key to the success of the coffee industry. That is why we are donating $50c from every kilogram of beans sold to the International Women’s Coffee Alliance (IWCA). The IWCA work to empower women in the international coffee community to achieve meaningful and sustainable lives; and to encourage and recognise the participation of women in all aspects of the coffee industry.
