At Arte, we see coffee as more than just a drink. To us, coffee is a means of collaborating and connecting. Coffee inspires!

We love roasting coffee that helps inspire people, and in the coming months, we want to shine a light on people within the coffee industry and coffee lovers alike who we find inspiring! By doing this, we are uplifting and empowering women, sharing their stories, and creating a network of inspired people.

We are inspired by women working in coffee across the world, and recognise that there are a variety of women that are key to the success of the coffee industry. Unfortunately, we are not able to communicate directly with the majority of those inspiring women that are key to the success of the coffee industry. That is why we are donating a portion of our profits from all bean sales to the International Women’s Coffee Alliance (IWCA).

International Women’s Coffee Alliance

The IWCA’s mission is to empower women in the international coffee community to achieve meaningful and sustainable lives; and to encourage and recognise the participation of women in all aspects of the coffee industry.

Study after study has confirmed that there is no development strategy more beneficial to society as a whole— women and men alike— than one which involves women as central players. No other policy is as likely to raise economic productivity, lower infant and maternal mortality or improve nutrition and promote health. When women are fully involved, the benefits can be seen immediately: families are healthier; they are better fed; their income, savings and reinvestment go up. And what is true of families is true of communities and, eventually, whole countries.”

Arte Coffee will be donating $0.50 for every 1kg of coffee sold to the IWCA.
